Biography
Seija’s social work interests primarily developed and broadened within the health care field. She has worked in acute care, inpatient psychiatry, community substance use, and mental health counselling.
Currently, Seija is the Team Lead for Cedar Sage Health and Wellness a team-based care, trauma-informed mental health and substance use clinic.
Seija’s areas of interest include: clinical social work practice, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, social work with groups, trauma-informed practice, social work with older adults, social work on an interdisciplinary team, mental health and mental illness.
